Series 601 / 602 MAGNUM^TM SLIDING WINDOWS

Locking: A variety of lock types including mortice locks are available.

Performance: Magnum^TM sliding windows have been successfully tested for compliance with Australian Standard AS2047 and will resist up to 450Pa water infiltration and comply with air conditioning requirements. This makes the product suitable for most residential applications including high rise.

Flyscreens: The sliders have been designed so that if you don't want flyscreens you won't have any unsightly recesses. Alternatively if you want screens we have custom sections to fit them professionally.

Condensation Drainage: Vantage offer an optional patented condensation drainage system for fixed lowlights/highlights. All slider sills are drained through an anti blow-back valve as standard.

Series 613 MAGNUM^TM DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOWS

Vantage Magnum^TM Double-hung Windows have been designed for customers that are looking for wide bold sashes to match timber.
This very upmarket and versatile window can be fabricated as single or double glazed. The wide/bold frame matches other Vantage Designer windows and doors. Sashes can be hinged back into the room to make it easier to clean the external face of the glass.

We also offer a sashless double-hung window called
ClearVENT^TM for the clean unobtrusive view.

Ease of Operation: The two panes slide effortlessly past each other.

Performance: Magnum^TM Series 613 double-hung will resist up to 300Pa water infiltration. This makes the product suitable for most residential applications.

Series 614 ClearVENT^TM Double-Hung Windows

Vantage ClearVENT^TM Double-hung Windows are designed to give clear uninterrupted vision and high and low ventilation. It is simple to operate and can be locked in an open position with or without flyscreens. This upmarket window has wide/bold frames to match other Vantage windows and doors. The numerous trim and coupler options available with this suite are illustrated in this section.

Ease of Operation: Two panes of glass slide silently past each other within aluminium guides which fit neatly into the perimeter frame.

Locking: Sashes are secured with the push of a button. We also offer a key lock version of this latch.

Performance: ClearVENT^TM Series 614 double-hung has been successfully tested for compliance with Australian Standard AS2047 and will resist up to 300Pa water infiltration. This makes the product suitable for most residential applications.

Series 616 MAGNUM^TM AWNING WINDOWS

Awning Sashes: Awning sashes can be fitted into the Entry door frame as shown on this page.

Sashes can be secured with cam handles, chain winders or concealed electric winders.The manual chain winders and cam handles can be colour matched to frame if required and time permits.

The two winder options allow flyscreens to be fitted.

Casement sashes can also be fitted into the Entry door frame

Series 616 MAGNUM^TM CASEMENT WINDOWS

High Performance Casements: The strength of the sashes (particularly the extra heavy duty 50mm) enable us to offer full height casement sashes.

Casements can be fitted with manual cam handles.

Sashes can be single or double glazed.

Compatibility: Casement sashes can be used in the same frame with Magnum^TM awnings or Fixed glazing or ClearVENT^TM sashless double-hung.

Take care with full height sashes (over 1600mm high) in elevated locations. We recommend sash opening restriction hardware be fitted to limit the opening gap.

Series 525 LouvreMASTER^TM WINDOWS

Glass, Cedar or Aluminium adjustable blades can be fitted into the Vantage LouvreMASTER^TM window.

Ventilation: Adjustable louvres allow you the greatest flow of air of any window when fully open. The air is able to be varied by changing the pitch of the louvres, in large openings by closing some blades and leaving others open. Consider this product for breezways or to allow natural cooling by air flow through a home.

Options: Vantage Series 525 LouvreMASTER^TM windows can be supplied with a large variety of adjustable blades and combined with matching adjoining fixed sidelights within the main frame.
Clear Vision: The Vantage LouvreMASTER^TM window allows almost unrestricted view while maintaining the ventilation option.

Weather Performance: The window has been tested to 450Pa water resistance. For the right sill and blade treatment to suit your application contact your local Vantage fabricator.
Cleaning: Both sides of the glass can be cleaned from inside the home.
Flyscreening: One of the main features with the Vantage LouvreMASTER^TM window is the ability to fit flyscreens into the main frame without adaptors, trims, screws or unsightly turnbuckles.

Series 546 BI-FOLD WINDOWS

Bi-folding Windows open up to provide almost 90% access to the great outdoors.
Many Configurations: A large number of configurations are available in even number of panels:

• BFW2 Two panels opening to one side.(illustrated right)
• BFW4 Four panels opening to one side.
• BFW2+2 Two panels opening to each side.
• BFW4+2 Four panels to left side and two to the right.
• BFW2+4 Two panels to left side and four to the right.
• BFW6 Six panels opening to one side.

Bi-fold windows are not available with an odd number of panels - You can't have a loose swinging panel.

Uniformity: The Series 546 Bi-fold window has been designed to match the Bi-fold door in appearance and performance. Hardware (rollers and bolt locking) also match the doors.

Sizes: The recommended maximum window height without transoms is 1600mm, with a maximum panel width of 900mm.

(750mm on windows with lowlights). The maximum panel weight is 45kg (20kg on windows with lowlights).

Sound Reduction

Vantage SoundOUT Windows & Doors
If you have a sound problem - Vantage have the windows and doors to solve your problem.

Designs: Sound reduction can be achieved with opening windows and doors. The best results are achieved with secondary glazing, basically a second ('SoundOUT') window located behind the front primary window. Good sound reduction numbers can also be achieved with single windows glazed with 6.38 and 7.52mm laminated glass. The new Magnum^TM suite will also accept 10.38mm.

Custom Locking: The secondary glazed sliding window system can be fitted with the same multi point ventilation lock as used on conventional centre lock sliding windows (illustrated on this page). Using this multi point key lock with laminated glass would significantly improve home security as well as reduce the sound intrusion and heat transfer.

Hinged Doors: Hinged entry, French and Bi-folding doors can be fitted with thicker glass including insulating glass.

Sliding Doors: Can be fitted with very thick laminated glass (up to 10.38mm) or 19mm insulating glass to improve the numbers. There is no value working on the windows and ignoring the doors. Test reports can be supplied for both sliding and hinged doors.

SERIES 618 MAGNUM^TM SLIDING DOOR

Extra Opening: Magnum^TM stacking slider doors open to approximately two-thirds of their width compared to standard sliding doors which open to less than half their overall width.
Two Stacking Options: They come as either a three panel unit, with two sliding panels, or as a six-panel unit, with two panels moving towards one jamb and two towards the other.

Bold Clean Frame: This sliding door is designed to complement the other Magnum^TM products with clean flat frame and bold door panels.

Glazing: As with other Vantage door types the Magnum^TM slider can be glazed with a range of options, including toughened, laminated and hermetically sealed double glazing.

Compatibility: Magnum^TM sliding doors can be coupled to any other 102mm window or door using one of the Vantage couplers.

Flydoors: We have designed a special framing system to match the main frame and custom flydoor to match the adjoining glass door rails and stiles.

Weatherproofing: The Magnum^TM Slider has a very high water resistance (450Pa) that makes it suitable for most building applications.

Series 548 High Performance BI-FOLD DOORS

Many Configurations: A large number of configurations are available including even and uneven panel numbers. These, coupled with hinge French door options, allow for quick and convenient exit or entry without opening up the bi-folds.

Strong Profiles: Perimeter frame, rails and stiles are box sections for added strength. Rails are wide and chunky for a truly solid appearance. Tall bottom rails can also be supplied for added impact.
Uniformity: For continuity of style and sightlines, Series 548 bi-fold rails match those of French doors and Vantage hinged entry doors.

Sizes: The recommended maximum door height is 2600mm, with a maximum panel width of 900mm. Higher doors may be possible depending on the wind zone. The maximum panel weight is 60kg.

Safety Glass: Doors, fixed panels next to doors and full height fixed glazing require grade 'A' safety glass.

Double Glazing: Keep the cold out in winter with 19mm hermetically sealed insulating glass.

Colonial Bars: A range of colonial bar options are available.

Series 548 FRENCH DOORS

Rebated Stiles: Where the French doors close together Vantage have designed rebated meeting stiles for a flush appearance and superior weather protection.

Panel Rigidity: Vantage Series 548 French and Bi-fold doors feature a practical but invisible innovation - specially designed nylon compression blocks at the corner joints to ensure that the doors stay rigid and square.

Parliament Hinges: (right) An option on Vantage French doors are Parliament hinges that allow doors to open a full 180° and avoid fouling on the external cladding.

Opening Highlights: French doors can be fitted with awning highlights to allow ventilation while maintaining security. Fixed highlights are also available.

Series 542 DStacker^TM Sliding Door

This stacking slider is the ideal door when you are looking for an economical wide opening door.
Extra Opening: DStacker^TM slider doors open approximately 50% more than a conventional 'FX' door. The two sliding panels stack behind the third fixed panel.
Two Stacking Options: They come as three ('FXX' or 'XXF') or six panel ('FXXXXF') doors, with two panels moving towards one jamb and two towards the other, as shown on the following page.
Glazing: As with other Vantage door types the DStacker^TM slider door panels can be glazed with a range of options, including toughened, laminated and hermetically sealed double glazing for thermal transmission reduction. Door panels will also accept 8.38 and 10.38mm laminated glass.
Compatibility: DStacker^TM sliding doors can be coupled together or to any other 102mm window or door using one of the custom Vantage couplers.
